Developments
Developing large plots of land can be tedious in Costa Rica. Types of developments in Costa Rica can include: residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial etc...When developing a plot of land it is essential to investigate the municipality regulations before taking any action. They will be able to verify geographical boundaries, the maximum percentage of development allowed, land use and much more.
Consider hiring essential assets to your new development such as a Topographer that will help you analyse the land and create an accurate representation of what you might expect to happen on said piece of land. An example of this is due to Costa Rica being a precipitation dense country, it is ideal to be at the top of a hill rather than the bottom to avoid drainage issues. Keep an eye out for potential erosion issues and conduct deep due diligence before purchasing/developing plots of land in Costa Rica.
