These three townhouses are priced at $475k in total. Located between Tamarindo and Villa Real, they are roughly a 10-minute drive to Tamarindo Beach and local amenities. Each unit has two floors, large windows, and a terrace. They come partially furnished with appliances and have parking for three cars. The first floor includes a kitchen, living room, courtyard, and half bathroom, while the second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

Although not in Tamarindo or Villa Real, there are still some comparable properties on Airbnb currently. Using these comparable vacation rentals, we’ve assumed that these townhouses can average a daily rate of $200 together, so $67 a night each; and achieve an occupancy of 40%. That is an annual return of roughly 2.5%, roughly $30,000. This assumes $50,000 in investment to fully furnish the 3 apartments, and add amenities that would make this a more attractive vacation rental, such as a pool.
