Data Spotlight: Arenal

There are many beach areas up and down the coast of Costa Rica, but only 1 Arenal. When we look at areas to invest, we find the magic happens in high demand areas with mid to luxury hotels, then we look at the rental, and search data. Arenal checks the mid to luxury hotel box, and dominates the search data, with 234,300 average monthly searches over the last 12 months, with Tamarindo coming in at second with 116,400. From a rental perspective, with an average occupancy of 55%, the area is pretty similar to others, and with the right property and unique features to set yourself apart, we see occupancy rates closer to 80+%.

Arenal Fractional Ownership

We will develop high-end experiential villas in the heart of La Fortuna, close to local hot springs, waterfalls and activities. With high demand and a high-end clientele, we identified a need for more experiential vacation rental stays in this area.
